Let’s take a look at GORUCK Ballistic Trainers in Black and Camo.
The Ballistic Trainer excels in snatches, cleans and jerks, squats, and heavy lifting inside the gym. But you can also do weighted ruck activities and sandbag workouts in dusty or muddy terrain with it and get the traction and support you need. This trainer shines even more outside the box, offering functionality and versatility. It is built and rebuilt repeatedly to guarantee they will support you no matter what you’re doing or where you’re doing it.
Here are some of the styles we are going to look at:
GORUCK Ballistic Trainers in Black and Camo – Overview
Our foot has three arches — the medial longitudinal arch, the lateral longitudinal arch, and the anterior transverse arch. The custom-made dense PU foam insert supports these three arches. GORUCK also added a thinner insert if you want less arch support and feel closer to the ground. The forefoot rubber is developed for enhanced grip while the heel area is solid and won’t wear down after distances of running or rucking. The midfoot is developed from a rock climbing compound and hardened for outstanding abrasion resistance. These three distinct rubber compounds create a single, seamless rubber outsole.
The forefoot of the Ballistic Trainer is built utilizing an engineered warp-knit technology which renders a seamless one-piece vamp and toe cap while offering areas of reinforced strength and other areas of breathability and flexibility. The lace area, midfoot, and heel is manufactured from two panels of 1680D CORDURA® Ballistic Nylon and offer the most robust Special Forces grade abrasion resistance against the pressures of rope climbs. This 1680D CORDURA® also renders excellent midfoot and heel support during vigorous movements. It may be hard outside, but the generous forefoot of Ballistic Trainer allows your toes to move and breathe.
The extra space, along with the breathable and flexible knit, lessens the irritation that can happen if your feet scrape against the interiors of your shoe. The supportive, injection-molded heel counter secures your foot and supports your heel when you’re doing dynamic, load-bearing workouts. With its 8mm heel-to-toe drop, the shoe produces the most solid biomechanical advantage when lifting heavy loads (squat, clean, snatch) or moving more than 400 meters (running or rucking). The high rebound, high flexibility EVA in the forefoot gives cushion and support for explosive movement. In contrast, the firm, stable EVA in the heel provides a solid platform to keep you grounded when lifting or squatting. These two distinct types of EVA blended in a steady gradient from forefoot to heel.
