Tiger Stripe Camo Gear from GORUCK – Overview
There are different kinds of camouflage, and all are used to, well, camouflage and hide. One of the most common types is Multicam. This color is prevalent on Plate Carriers and other tactical gear. The name MultiCam is a registered brand of Crye Precision. It is adaptable and applicable to a wide variety of situations and is a popular option for the military combat uniforms of the armed forces of many countries.
Another type is the Navy AOR-1 and AOR-2, aka as Navy Working Uniform (NWU), and uses many modern patterns. AOR-1 is a pixellated pattern used in dry, desert parched regions, while AOR-2 is a lush woodland pattern. Another type of camouflage is the Tiger stripe. Indestructible Training Shorts – 7.5″
The Indestructible Training Shorts – 7.5″ are soft to the touch but don’t tear, rip, or fail even in the most brutal training conditions. The ToughStretch® fabric is lightweight, sweat-wicking, and has a four-way stretch with a 7.5” inseam. The shorts have two front side pockets and a hidden zippered pocket inside the front right pocket.
The waistband is adjustable with an internal drawcord and a built-in performance brief liner that is soft and dries quickly. A 2” American flag is embroidered near the bottom right hem, as well as a subtle GORUCK logo on the back bottom seam. They are made from 86% polyester and 14% spandex and won’t pill against uneven surfaces like a barbell or rucksack.

The 24.7 Full-Zip Hoodie is made of indestructible training fabric that won’t pill on any occasion. The performance fabric is lightweight, sweat-wicking, and rugged, with a durable exterior and soft interior. The shoulders are reinforced with ToughDry material for added abrasion resistance.
The hoodie has a lockdown zipper that won’t flap around while moving. It has perforated interior pockets for ventilation and a performance binding cuff to keep dirt and debris out of your sleeve. It is made from 77% nylon, 19% polyester, and 4% spandex with a subtle GORUCK spearhead on the bottom hem.
GR1 Tiger Stripe
GR1 has been proven to Special Forces standards for over a decade at the GORUCK Challenge and is the toughest rucksack ever built. It has added padded shoulder straps and a top handle to carry heavier loads easier, as well as a reinforced bombproof laptop compartment next to your back. The ruck has multiple pockets—one large elastic pocket, one large mesh zippered pocket, one small go-to pocket, and one external slant pocket for immediate access to keys, snacks, and other small items.
