These are the values and standards by which soldiers live each day of their lives. The Latin expression Nemo Resideo translates to “leave no one behind”. It has been around ever since soldiers have fought battles. It’s included in the U. S. Army, Ranger, and Airman Creed at every level. While each unit has perhaps said it a bit creatively, it’s been compressed to the very brief phrase – “leave no one”.
Rucker 20L – Black + Coyote
Take the most comfortable rucksack ever built next time you ruck. The Rucker 3.0 has the ergonomic lumbar support and an all-new, less abrasive fabric used on the back panel and underside of the shoulder straps that allow you to wear it shirtless with no friction burn. The top, bottom, and both sides of the handles are also padded. For customization purposes, three rows of external MOLLE webbing on the front and side are added so you can attach a padded hip belt if you want. The frame sheet holds the pack’s integrity as you weigh it down and enables you to bring a heavier load more conveniently.
For easy organization, the Rucker opens flat just like the design of the Special Forces medical rucks. It has an interior D-ring and hydration tube exit port under the top handle of the ruck and YKK zippers with silent, glove-friendly zipper pulls built from parachute 550 cord. To make your stuff more organized, the Rucker is provided with plenty of pockets — one large mesh zippered pocket, one small go-to zippered pocket, one large elastic pocket, a Ruck Plate® pocket, and an external slant pocket that grants easy access to small items. It includes adjustable and removable Training Sternum Strap and has bottom grommet drain holes.
MACV-1 – Black + Coyote – 6″
The outsole of the dual MacV-1 has dual-compound rubber that provides versatility in any environment, including enhanced traction on wet and muddy terrain. The outsole also hugs the toes for understated security against hostile terrain or when doing push-ups. The forefoot rubber is devised for improved grip, while the heel area is devised for abrasion resistance and enhanced durability. Your toes will thank you with the generous forefoot area that lessens the friction that can happen if your feet brush against the insides of your boot.
Instead of 5mm, the speed laces are 3mm, so it won’t collect debris and mud. The 3mm also rinse off and dry faster, and they are also faster to tie because there’s less bulk. MACV-1 is fitting for airborne operations and maintains stability and support on rugged ground. By design, the heel counter and the 2″ webbing does not pull forward when you lace your boots up with your ankle locked into the heel. The 13mm offset is the ideal heel-to-toe drop for rucking and lessens the stress on your Achilles. The spacer mesh is removed to avoid unwanted weight when it encounters water.
